Most reputable manufacturers will indicate what weight their bags have been tested to carry safely. If you carry no more than the recommended maximum weight your bag should last a long time.
Here are some other tips to help you prolong the life of your vegan leather bag:
1 – Be mindful of how you carry it. For instance, don’t carry a backpack by one strap for too long.
2 – Make sure that heavy contents are distributed evenly in the bag to avoid putting unnecessary stress on the strap, fastenings and material.
3 – Give the bag a rest now and then. Perhaps rotate a couple of bags instead of using the same one every day.
